liberal hell

liberal caucus

God help us. liberals in government until 2013, I can’t stand it another minute.

They have turned, this province into hell on earth for anyone who isn’t making a six figure income, on a waiting list for “elective” cancer surgery, or trying to find an affordable place to live. And for parents who would like a decent education for their children.

Taxpayers, sick people, pensioners, children, the homeless: disenfranchised, abused, lied to, neglected and suffering in hospital closets.

But there is hope. We may still get a new stadium roof for less than a hundred million

Long WeekEnd Tax

hey hi, big thanks to my subscribers, another beautiful day on the wet coast, I woke up this morning and shuddered to think another holiday is around the corner

I like holidays but every time we have a long weekend the liberals hike taxes another  couple of points- the sky is the limit, the greedy bastards. Total lackey/slaves to Rio Tinto and Embridge. DAILY Atrocities our last square inch of old growth is going to be logged. Do the liberals hate trees that are more than five feet tall? Are we going to stuff the last salmon and put it in the museum of “civilization” And how about the rivers being sold. Excuse me how do you sell a river? BC you are a company town, paid for by the taxpayers and sold to any piece of garbage/godless corporation.

the Falcon (read suicide and traffic jams to get the lowdown on this jerk)  has decided he and his friends can make more money renting our doctors and hospitals to tourists.  If my family needs surgery we have to show up with a passport and credit card. Wow, I don’t even have a passport. Now what do I do? I stepped on a nail and went to the hospital for a tetanus shot and a little alcohol to clean the wound. I had to ask the nurse for a band aid and waited an hour for one. I’ll never forget the look on the nurse’s face- it speaks- the thing wants a bandaid. You would think I had asked her if I could eat her lunch or borrow her tooth brush. I pay for health care, it is automatically deducted from my pay. I don’t have a choice, if I want to live in this shit hole province I have to pay a tax on my pay for healthcare. I don’t know if anyone has been hauled off to health tax jail, but hey quit your job and don’t pay. You’re damned either way.

The absolutely useless lying piece of shit brain dead fucking moron Gordon is justifying the 30 years of debt this province has just incurred for the olympics, by saying tourism is going to take off.

Yea, everybody is just dying to come here and see clear cuts and oil slick on the beaches and dying wildlife.

You lying bag of shit.

Operation Phoenix Sounds Nice

I just read the comments by the readers of The Province, in their series OPERATION PHOENIX sponsored by The Province, CKNW 980, and Global B.C. The installment in the series today is in response to a column written by Ethan Baron on Wednesday June 3, 2009. 80% of the respondents agree that addicts from the downtown east side should be locked up and get some kind of care until they are no longer addicts.

I hate to cloud the issue with the facts, but according to the British Columbia Ministry of Health, Guide to the Mental Health Act, April 4, 2005

Section 28: an involuntary commitment can occur when an individual is apparently suffering from a mental disorder and is acting in a manner likely to endanger their own safety or that of another.

“The Guide”  goes on to say… “the term safety here is not restricted to the potential of physical violence to self or others. For example it also covers situations where the person’s safety is endangered because of exposure to extremely cold weather conditions or gross self neglect.”

The V.P.D. can’t commit people, only a doctor can and sometimes it takes two doctors or a judge. That’s what “the Act” says. Don’t take my word for it, look it up yourself.

Just between you and me, if you saw someone laying in an alley covered in scabs with a needle stuck in their arm, would you call that an act of self harm or gross self neglect?

Would you care in the moment if they were there by choice or by mental illness. Would common sense say, maybe this person needs to go to the hospital for more than a couple of hours, and I’m not talking about just the waiting time.

When I worked at Riverview Hospital  coincidentally in 2005, I was told no new patients were being admitted. And the patients in care were being discharged on a daily basis “to other facilities”

We both know where they went.

Section 28: “

Columbia North

I just read a six page article from Macleans.ca, HOW BC BECAME A WORLD CRIME SUPER POWER, if you live in Canada you should read it too. The stats are staggering, if you have an honest job you feel like some dork who has missed the big deal bandwagon. That’s ok, I don’t have to sleep with a gun under my pillow. About two and a half years ago I lived in a ‘hood where the drug dealers and users outnumbered the ordinary working stiffs. The only action during the day was crack ho’s on my doorstep. At night it was gun city. I had bullet proof glass on every window near ground level, Kevlar sandwiched between two layers of glass. It also did a nice job of insulating us in winter, although I don’t recall the R value. The neighbourhood was a ghetto facilitated by politicians that turned a blind eye to slumlords. Which was a big oversight because my landlord never paid the taxes due to the city. Go figure. You try and get away with tax evasion and see how long you can. Anyway so we’re poor we live in a crime ridden slum who cares? The running joke was anybody driving an SUV was a dealer, seems like black Lincolns were the standard issue. I drove a fifteen year old Sprint with a huge hole in the floor on the driver’s side. It really sucked driving through puddles. I felt semi-safe living there, I had two big dogs and I never went out at night. I also had the local PD running through my yard with their dogs on a regular basis with guns drawn the whole “shooting mess”. If I started to describe the living conditions you would swear I was writing from a third world country. There was a stream in the basement. If there was any justice on this planet I should have caught salmon down there returning to their spawning grounds, but the fish were smart enough to stay away from that hell hole.

Happy ending, sure no problem. The properties were razed, they are still abandoned lots. I hope my former landlord is suffering half as much as his tenants did. We moved to a lovely suburban rancher That Used to be a Grow-OP. Of course we only found out AFTER we moved in.

I just want to add that the premier of BC has said that the reason we have such a HUGE crime/drug problem is because it takes so long to train cops. What a F@#$ing Idiot.

Hit and Run

On July 14th Deborra Hope of Global News Hour B.C. reported some jaw dropping numbers on the instance of hit and runs in the lower mainland. The stats were so outrageous I checked them a few times.

119 hit and runs a day. I’m no genius but if you multiply that by 365, you get 43,435 a year.

Between 2002 and 2006, 217,500 hit and runs are unsolved.

There are 700 crashes a day. Or 255,500 a year.

I guess I won’t be needing a soap box today, a five year old could understand these numbers.
